Anne Murray – Christmas Wishes: ANNEversary Edition (CD)
Anne Murray CDs
Product Details
Canada's first female solo artist to earn a platinum album, Anne Murray brought the same warm, unaffected delivery to holiday material that made her a country and pop crossover force throughout the 1970s and '80s. "Christmas Wishes" found her at the peak of her commercial powers, and its enduring sales numbers reflect a genuine emotional connection with listeners that outlasted trends. This remastered edition is a welcome return for one of the quieter essentials in her catalog.
‘Christmas Wishes’ is Anne Murray’s first Holiday recording released by Capitol Records in 1981. The disc peaked at #34 on the
Billboard Top Country Albums chart, #19 on Billboard Top Holiday Albums chart and stands as one of Anne’s biggest-selling
career albums, earning double platinum certification from the RIAA. At the time of its deletion, it had sold nearly 3 million US
copies! Newly remastered and released on vinyl in 2025 as part of the ANNEversary Edition series in celebration of Anne
Murray’s remarkable legacy, the CD version is now available once again for fans to enjoy.
