Ari Balouzian & Phoebe Bridgers – Primetime: Original Soundtrack (CD)
Product Details
Balouzian has quietly built one of the more distinctive careers in contemporary film scoring, bringing a chamber sensibility to documentary work that resists easy categorization. Bridgers, whose instinct for songs that feel both intimate and unsettling makes her a natural fit for this kind of material, contributes a original piece that extends the emotional territory she's explored across her solo work and her projects with boygenius.
One of the most anticipated films of the fall, Primetime releases on September 25, directed by Lance Oppenheim (Sperm World, Some Kind of Heaven), and starring Robert Pattinson as "To Catch a Predator" host Chris Hansen. The soundtrack is equally star studded, with an original score composed by frequent collaborator of Oppenheim's, Ari Balouzian, plus an original song from the film, "On Video" by Phoebe Bridgers.
