Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan's death in December 2009 made this 2007 self-titled record a document frozen in time, capturing the classic lineup at the height of their powers. Recorded with producer Machine, the album pushed Avenged Sevenfold into a harder, more cinematic sound that cemented their place in the lineage of arena-ready heavy metal.
Avenged Sevenfold 'Self Titled' album was the bands 4th studio album and the last to feature their drummer The Rev. 'Self Titled' has sold over 1.5 Million copies worldwide and has been streamed over 750 Million times and continues to be one of their largest and most popular albums. The album was ranked No. 4 on The Billboard 200, was awarded best album by Kerrang in 2008, was featured on Kerrang's "666 albums you must hear before you die" and went certified gold in 2008.For Fans Of: Metallica, Slipknot, Bullet For My Valentine
