Barfuss In Scherben - Deutschpunk 1979-1986 (CD)

Barefoot in the shards. The name alone tells you everything about the early German punk underground, a scene that developed largely outside the Anglo-American spotlight, with its own regional labels, squatter culture, and blunt political urgency. This collection spans the foundational years when Deutschpunk carved out its own identity, separate from British influences, rougher and more communal, documenting a movement that deserves far more attention outside its home country.
