Product Details
Released just weeks after *Depression Cherry*, *Thank Your Lucky Stars* found Victoria Legrand and Alex Scally pushing into darker, more abrasive textures than their earlier work, with tracks like "Majorette" and "Rough Song" carrying an emotional weight that rewards patient listening. Two albums in a single year is a rare move, and Beach House pulled it off without either release feeling rushed or secondary.
Vinyl LP pressing in a tip-on gatefold jacket with custom dust sleeve, includes digital download. Thank Your Lucky Stars is the sixth full-length effort from Baltimore, Maryland dream pop duo Beach House (Victoria Legrand and Alex Scally) and second of 2015 alone following the August release of fifth album Depression Cherry. The band stated that Thank Your Luck Stars, "is an album being released the way we want. It's not a companion to Depression Cherry or a surprise or b-sides."
