Product Details

Ill Communication arrived in 1994 as the Beastie Boys' full embrace of live instrumentation, jazz, funk, and hardcore alongside their hip-hop foundation, debuting at number one and cementing the trio as something far more than their Licensed to Ill origins suggested. Tracks like "Sabotage" and "Sure Shot" remain fixtures of the cultural moment they helped define, but the deeper cuts reward the kind of close listening this remaster was built for.

Remastered for the first time, and oversean by the band, the Beastie Boy's Ill Communication makes it's return to the vinyl format. It comes as a 180 gram double gatefold 2 LP set. The second disc comes with 12 tracks, one which is previously unreleased, 3 remixes and one live track.
