Boston's Big D and the Kids Table spent the better part of a decade building one of the tightest live followings in the East Coast ska-punk scene, and by 2009 they had the road-worn chops to back up the ambition. Fluent in Stroll finds them stretching toward something looser and more groove-oriented, leaning into the danceable undercurrents that always ran beneath their harder material.

The band calls the style of their sixth full-length record "stroll" - a mix of hopscotch, double dutch, soul, ska, and reggae. They also feel it's most like their first record SHOT BY LAMMI. Produced by Joe Gittleman (The Mighty Mighty Bosstones). Mixed by Paul Q Kolderie (Radiohead, Dinosaur Jr., Uncle Tupelo). Look for them on the entire 2009 Warped Tour.
