Product Details

Recorded in 1962 with drummer Paul Motian and bassist Chuck Israels, this session captures Evans in a particularly lyrical stretch, shortly after the seismic loss of Scott LaFaro. Israels brings a different gravity to the low end, and hearing Evans recalibrate around a new collaborator is its own quiet revelation.
