Black Sabbath – Eternal Idol (CD)
Product Details
Tony Martin's arrival in Black Sabbath often gets overshadowed by the Ozzy and Dio eras, but his tenure gave the band a legitimate second wind at a moment when many had written them off. Recorded during a period of real instability, the album's sessions famously saw Ray Gillen track most of the vocals before Martin stepped in to finish the job, a behind-the-scenes upheaval that makes the polished final product all the more remarkable.
The Eternal Idol is the thirteenth studio album by English rock band Black Sabbath, released in November 1987. It is the first Black Sabbath album to feature vocalist Tony Martin. This 2025 remastered CD features two bonus tracks, 'Some Kind of Woman' & 'Black Moon' on the CD variant.
