Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward had not performed together in nearly two decades when they took the stage at Birmingham's NEC Arena in December 1997, closing out an Ozzfest reunion tour that few believed would actually happen. The performances here are raw and unsentimentally heavy, a reminder that the original four invented a vocabulary for darkness and distortion that every band on that Ozzfest bill had spent years borrowing from.
