Blondie – Greatest Hits (CD)

Blondie's run from 1976 through the early '80s remains one of the most genuinely fearless stretches in New York rock history, with the band moving between punk, disco, reggae, and hip-hop not as a stylistic exercise but because Debbie Harry and Chris Stein simply refused to stand still. "Rapture" hit number one in 1981 and brought rap to mainstream radio years before most of America knew what to do with it, a fact that still doesn't get enough credit.
