Product Details

The Scottish brothers behind Boards of Canada have always treated memory and landscape as raw sonic material, and this four-track EP captures that obsession at its most quietly unsettling. Released in 2000, it takes its title from the Branch Davidian compound near Waco, a detail that gives the pastoral warmth of these textures a distinctly uneasy undertow. Essential context for anyone tracing how Geogaddi came to be.

2013 reissue. 2000 single release from Scottish electronica duo. B.O.C. and Broadcast are probably the only two melodic electronic bands signed to Warp Records. Tracks, 'Kid for Today', 'Amo Bishop Roden', 'In a Beautiful Place Out in the Country' & 'Zoetrope'.
