Product Details

Recorded in just three sessions in Nashville with only bass and drums alongside his acoustic guitar, Dylan delivered this spare, parable-filled record months before the Band's *Music from Big Pink* helped reshape what rock music could be. The timing mattered: while psychedelia dominated 1967, Dylan quietly pointed the whole conversation somewhere older and stranger.

Released in late 1967, John Wesley Harding marked Bob Dylan’s return to semi-acoustic instrumentation. The album draws on folk and country traditions, with lyrics that reference biblical and narrative themes. It includes tracks such as “All Along the Watchtower” and “As I Went out One Morning”. Available on vinyl.
