Product Details

Dylan's gospel period remains one of the most polarizing chapters in his catalog, drawing walkouts and jeers from rock fans who weren't ready to hear him preach, while true believers recognized a performer utterly convicted in his new direction. These tours captured a man at his most fervent and uncompromising, backed by some of the finest gospel-trained vocalists he ever worked with, delivering performances that now demand serious reappraisal.

The next installment in the award-winning Bootleg Series, 'Trouble No More - The Bootleg Series Vol. 13 / 1979-1981', focuses on the albums 'Slow Train Coming' (1979), 'Saved' (1980) and 'Shot of Love' (1981) and the legendary live shows from that period.
