Bob Marley & The Wailers – Legend (CD)

Compiled shortly after Marley's death in 1981, *Legend* became the best-selling reggae album in history, introducing millions to a catalog that had been building since the late 1960s. These extended mixes reflect the 12-inch remix culture that dominated the mid-1980s, when producers were stretching tracks for dancefloors in ways that honored the music's roots in Jamaican dub tradition.
