Product Details
The Stax house band that gave us "Green Onions" and anchored records by Otis Redding, Sam & Dave, and Albert King brought the same tight, soulful telepathy to the holiday canon. Steve Cropper's guitar, Duck Dunn's bass, Al Jackson Jr.'s drums, and Booker T. Jones at the keys made even Christmas standards feel like they were cut on a Saturday afternoon on McLemore Avenue.
12 Holiday classics that topped charts upon it's release in 1966, done in the instantly recognizable style of the Memphis Group.
