Product Details
Eno's ambient work has always been about threshold states, from the hospital room inspiration behind *Discreet Music* to the generative systems of *Music For Airports*, and Wolfe brings her own restless approach to format and form, having previously pressed music onto materials ranging from recycled rain to a deck of cards. Together they've built a trilogy that treats the studio less as a recording space and more as a philosophical instrument.
Vinyl LP pressing. Third collaborative album from Beatie Wolfe and Brian Eno. Liminal stands at the point of convergence between Lateral and Luminal. If Lateral is a kind of landscape painting, a sonic place, Luminal is a dream-like awakening, a feeling space. Liminal, the newest addition, is a hybrid of the two, a strange new land with a human living and feeling it's way through it's mysterious spaces.
