Chicago has always had a gift for producing bands that don't fit neatly into any era, and Brigitte Calls Me Baby carries that tradition forward with a sound that feels simultaneously nostalgic and urgent. Leavins' voice is the kind that stops a room, equal parts Roy Orbison swoon and post-punk cool, anchoring a debut that rewards repeat listens.

Brigitte Calls Me Baby emerged in 2023 scoring a top 10 radio hit (Impressively Average) and a "breakout artist" nod from NME along with a sold-out headlining tour across the US. With their debut LP "The Future Is Our Way Out" the Chicago-based 5 piece share a body of work that spans genres and eras, merging the lavish romanticism of mid-century pop with the frenetic energy and spiky intensity of early-millennium indie, all centered on singer Wes Leavins’ hypnotically crooning vocal work.
