Brigitte Fontaine – Comme A La Radio: On Air (2-LP Vinyl)

Brigitte Fontaine's 1969 collaboration with the Art Ensemble of Chicago remains one of the most radical meetings of French avant-garde chanson and free jazz ever committed to tape. Recorded with Jacques Higelin and produced during a period when Fontaine was pushing far outside the boundaries of conventional French pop, it landed to commercial indifference and later became a cult landmark that influenced generations of artists who understood that the most interesting music rarely announces itself politely.
