Product Details
Bring Me The Horizon have spent the better part of two decades reshaping what heavy music can contain, moving from Sheffield deathcore roots through pop-metal crossovers to something genuinely harder to categorize. NEX GEN continues the POST HUMAN series with a cast of collaborators that reflects the band's increasingly wide orbit, pulling from across rock, electronic, and pop worlds. For a band that's filled arenas on multiple continents, this is the record where the ambition matches the scale.
Welcome to NeX GEn…the wait is finally over.
NeX GEn is the latest chapter in the series to be revealed and sees the band expanding both musically and conceptually. Following on from 2020’s POST HUMAN: Survival Horror – NeX GEn hits heavy, whilst frontman Oli’s vocals are his most melodic to date. There is so much to unwrap across this 16-track album that incudes previous singles ‘LosT’, ‘DArkSide’, ‘Kool-Aid’ and ‘DiE4u’. “It's a real concept album, with a full narrative that connects to the first record, but the concept is hidden and buried,” he says. “Some people aren’t going to be interested, but for some people it could be like a self-help book. There’s a lot of things in there, some of it’s quite clear, but a lot of it cryptic and hidden. People are gonna have to work it out.” The album is available as a 2LP Black Vinyl in a 5mm Spine, housed in 100% recycled card and a double-sided insert.
