Product Details

Bruno Mars built his reputation as one of pop's most versatile stylists by treating genre as a playground rather than a boundary, and this 2012 follow-up to *Doo-Wops & Hooligans* pushed that instinct further, blending funk, reggae, pop, and R&B into something that felt genuinely lived-in. Hits like "Locked Out of Heaven" and "Treasure" dominated radio without sounding like they were engineered to, which remains the trick Mars pulls off better than almost anyone working in mainstream pop.

For Unorthodox Jukebox, Mars and his songwriting/production team The Smeezingtons (Mars, Philip Lawrence, Ari Levine) partnered with heavyweight producers including Jeff Bhasker, Mark Ronson and Diplo to create the 10-track album.
