BTS – Wings, Vol 2 (CD)
Product Details
Wings arrived at a turning point for BTS, with each member given a solo track to showcase individual artistry for the first time, a structural choice that signaled the group's ambitions beyond the conventions of K-pop. The album drew inspiration from Hermann Hesse's novel Demian, threading themes of temptation, growth, and identity through its concept in ways that resonated deeply with a global fanbase already hungry for something more layered.
2016 release. One of four covers will be supplied at random. Includes a 96-page booklet and one random photocard. After wrapping up the youth-themed Most Beautiful Moment in Life trilogy with Young Forever, BTS starts a new series with their album Wings. Planet Shiver's Philtre, who has worked with Epik High, Dynamic Duo and Tablo, serves as composer on the album. The 15-track album includes the Moombahton trap-style title number "Blood Sweat & Tears," the intro track "Boy Meets Evil", "Begin" and "Lie". BTS, also known as the Bangtan Boys, is a seven-member South Korean boy band formed by Big Hit Entertainment. The name subsequently became a backronym for Beyond the Scene in July 2017.
