Product Details

Cage The Elephant had already proven themselves one of rock's most restless bands by the time they returned with their third record, but *Melophobia* found the Kentucky outfit pushing into stranger, more introspective territory. The title itself, meaning "fear of music," signals the anxiety and creative tension baked into these songs, a band wrestling publicly with what it means to keep making noise in an era that rewards formula.

Cage The Elephant's eagerly anticipated third full-length album, Melophobia, will be released Oct. 8th on RCA Records. The new album was recorded in Nashville, TN and reunites the band with producer Jay Joyce who produced the group's prior two releases.
