Product Details
Before Chris Stapleton put his stamp on it, "I'm A Ram" belonged to Al Green, who recorded it in the early 1970s as part of his legendary run at Hi Records in Memphis. Stapleton's deep roots in Southern soul make him a natural fit for that lineage, and hearing him work with source material this rich, across both a studio cut and a live take, shows exactly why his voice carries that kind of weight.
Chris Stapleton’s never-before-released song, “I’m A Ram,” which is featured in the national TV commercial for RAM trucks, will be available on a limited edition 7” vinyl single exclusive to indie retailers. It also includes a live version of this classic Al Green song.
