Christine McVie spent much of the late 1990s and early 2000s in self-imposed semi-retirement in the English countryside, having stepped away from the spotlight after Fleetwood Mac's 1998 reunion tour. *In The Meantime* stands as the quiet, personal work she made during that withdrawn period, a reminder that her gift for melody and warmth never needed a stadium to breathe.
Vinyl LP pressing. Originally released in 2004, In The Meantime was produced by Christine McVie, Ken Caillat and Dan Perfect (Christine's nephew). We've acquired the rights to release the album through WMG/Rhino for the first time as a part of our Songbird deal. Dan Perfect created a new stereo and Dolby ATMOS mix of the album, which were approved by Christine last year before her passing.
