The son of Cuban jazz legend Bebo Valdés and founder of the influential Afro-Cuban jazz group Irakere, Chucho carries decades of Havana's musical DNA into every phrase he plays, making even a solo performance feel like a conversation across generations.
SOLO PIANO isn't entirely accurate; there are a couple of songs that feature accompaniment. However the star of this concert recording is Chucho's piano, the jazz musician's transcendently utilized instrument.
