Product Details
Produced with Brian Eno at the helm, Coldplay's 2008 breakthrough into grander, more atmospheric territory marked a genuine turning point for the band, trading the anthemic rock of their earlier records for orchestral sweep and a more restless creative ambition. The Delacroix-referencing cover art alone announced that something had shifted. Pressed on fully recycled PET plastic, this clear vinyl edition makes the environmental statement as loud as the music.
Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends (clear EcoRecord LP) Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends by Coldplay is now available on clear EcoRecord. Each injection-moulded LP is made entirely from, on average, nine recycled plastic bottles. EcoRecord sounds and looks as great as a traditional vinyl record, but it's been manufactured using 100% recycled PET, instead of PVC. Injection moulding technology has energy savings of up to 85% compared to the traditional vinyl process. - Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends is Coldplay's 2008 fourth studio album. It includes the singles Viva la Vida, Violet Hill, Lovers In Japan, Strawberry Swing and Lost! And features production by Brian Eno, Markus Dravs, Jon Hopkins and Rik Simpson.
