Product Details
November 1998 found Dave Matthews Band deep in the thick of one of their most artistically ambitious periods, the Before These Crowded Streets cycle pushing the band toward darker, more orchestrated territory than anything they'd attempted before. Tim Reynolds, whose telepathic guitar interplay with Matthews stretches back to the earliest Charlottesville club days, elevates these performances beyond the standard five-piece configuration, adding improvisational depth that rewards repeated listening.
By the fall of 1998, Dave Matthews Band was still on tour in support of Before These Crowded Streets, their most widely acclaimed album at the time. This uncirculated performance captures the original lineup firing on all cylinders, joined by special guest Tim Reynolds on electric guitar, for then-fresh, now-beloved songs like Don't Drink the Water, Crush, and Stay (Wasting Time).
