The Gorge has been Dave Matthews Band's spiritual home for decades, a natural amphitheater above the Columbia River that transforms a rock show into something genuinely communal. Labor Day weekend there has long been a pilgrimage for the DMB faithful, and the 2025 run delivered a once-in-a-generation moment: the complete live debut of Before These Crowded Streets, the 1998 album that remains one of the band's most ambitious and beloved works.
"Take Me Back / Live from the Gorge" is a landmark live album recorded in 2025 during the band's annual Labor Day weekend at The Gorge Amphitheater in WA. The weekend marked the first time that DMB played Before These Crowded Streets in it's entirety in concert. Other songs include: Dylan's "All Along The Watchtower", "You Never Know" and "It Could Happen."
