Bowie's 1978 Isolar II tour found him at one of the most creatively charged moments of his life, living in Berlin and deep into the trilogy of albums he made with Brian Eno. The Deutschlandhalle performance draws heavily from "Heroes" and "Low," music that was written in that very city, giving these recordings a geographic and emotional resonance that studio versions simply can't replicate.

David Bowie - Live In Berlin (1978) Released to coincide with the "David Bowie Is" exhibition at Brooklyn Museum that ran from March 2 to July 15, 2018. Recorded live at the Deutschlandhalle, Berlin on 16th May, 1978. Sold only via the museum shop, both during and after the exhibition.
