Casey Crescenzo built *The Dear Hunter* as a vehicle for one of modern rock's most ambitious storytelling projects, a multi-act song cycle following a single character from birth through war and beyond. Act I set the narrative and sonic foundation, drawing from post-hardcore, prog, and theatrical rock in a way that made the concept feel lived-in rather than academic.
The first release from former The Receiving End Of Sirens vocalist/guitarist Casey Crescenzo and the record that started it all. Originally recorded while still a member of TREOS Act I kicked off a years long series of Act releases.
