Product Details

Sacramento's Deftones were never easy to categorize, which is exactly what made them matter. Chino Moreno's band drew from shoegaze, post-hardcore, and heavy metal without sounding like any of them, building a cult that ran deeper than most platinum acts ever manage. The self-titled record, released in 2003, found them doubling down on atmosphere and tension rather than chasing radio.

After two gold albums, the Deftones broke it wide open with 2000's platinum White Pony. Now, after global sales of more than 4 million albums and having played to over 3 million fans, the band's self-titled fourth album, as erotic as it is brutal, as relentless as it is gentle, rockets the Grammy-winning Deftones to the top of modern rock.
