Down – Volume V (CD)

Phil Anselmo built Down as a haven for the riff-obsessed, pulling together New Orleans metal royalty including Pepper Keenan and Kirk Windstein to create something heavier and slower than anything their day jobs demanded. Volume V continues the band's tradition of treating the EP format as a focused, uncompromising statement rather than a stopgap, doubling down on the sludge and Southern doom that made the project essential from the start.
