Downpilot – Strange Horses (CD)

Seattle-based songwriter Paul Hiraga has spent years quietly building one of the Pacific Northwest's most emotionally precise catalogs, and *Strange Horses* sits at the heart of that work. His fingerpicked arrangements and unhurried melodies reward the kind of patient listening that feels increasingly rare, landing somewhere between late-night folk and hushed chamber pop.
