Downpilot – Strange Horses (LP Vinyl)

Seattle-based songwriter Paul Hiraga has built Downpilot's catalog on the kind of unhurried, melody-first songwriting that rewards patient listeners, and *Strange Horses* sits at the quiet center of that tradition. Rooted in classic singer-songwriter craft with textures that recall the best of '70s California folk-rock, it's the sort of record that finds its audience slowly and keeps them for good.
