The Canvey Island pub rockers arrived fully formed on *Down By The Jetty*, delivering a stripped-back, no-frills attack that helped clear the ground for punk while staying rooted in Chicago blues and R&B. Wilko Johnson's choppy, chording guitar style and Lee Brilleaux's raw vocals made them unlike anything else coming out of Britain in 1975, and the stereo mix reveals new dimensions in a recording that's always rewarded close listening.

Dr. Feelgood’s landmark and influential 1975 debut was famously released in mono. A small number of territories released the album in stereo, which is presented here in remastered form. The rare stereo edition is now available on vinyl for the first time in over 50 years. It features the classics “She Does It Right”, “Roxette” and “All Through The City”.
