Product Details

Crocodiles arrived in 1980 as one of post-punk's most fully realized debut statements, with Ian McCulloch's brooding baritone and Will Sergeant's reverb-drenched guitar finding a sound that was atmospheric without being precious. The Liverpool quartet, still working with a drum machine they nicknamed "Echo," captured something genuinely haunted on tracks like "Rescue" and "Going Up," music that pulled equally from the Doors and the Velvets without sounding like either.

Digitally remastered edition of this 1980 album from the Liverpudlian post punk band.
