Liverpool's post-punk scene produced few debuts as fully formed as this one, with Ian McCulloch's cavernous vocals and Will Sergeant's corrosive guitar work arriving in 1980 with a confidence that made Echo & The Bunnymen instant outliers among their peers. The bonus material here offers a rare window into how the band developed their sound before they became one of the defining voices of the early '80s.

Their stunning debut album, Crocodiles, originally released in 1980, now contains six additional bonus tracks, including previously unissed early versions of "Villiers Terrace," "Pride," and "Simp le Stuff," plus their 1981 four-track Shine So Har d live EP presented in it's entirety on CD for the first time ever.
