Everything But The Girl – Temperamental (2-LP Vinyl)

Tracey Thorn and Ben Watt had already reshaped their sound dramatically with 1994's *Amplified Heart* and the massive crossover success of the Todd Terry remix of "Missing," but *Temperamental* pushed further into electronic territory, with Watt immersing himself in late-90s UK drum and bass and deep house culture. It stands as their final studio album before a lengthy hiatus, making it both a culmination of their electronic evolution and, in retrospect, a farewell statement from one of Britain's most thoughtful pop duos.
