Ex Norwegian – Pure Gold (Bonus Track, Colored, Ylw LP Vinyl)

Limited edition 2026 remastered reissue of Ex Norwegian's Pure Gold on translucent yellow vinyl. Originally released in 2015, the album brings a crate digger's imagination to melodic guitar pop, pairing originals with overlooked songs by Paul McCartney, Jimmy Campbell, Tintern Abbey and the New York Rock And Roll Ensemble. Shindig! Praised it's "impeccable taste and inspired eclecticism." The album captures the Miami band rebuilding it's group sound, with lead vocals shared throughout and Fernando Perdomo on drums. Highlights include String Driven Thing's "It's A Game" (later a Bay City Rollers hit, and issued as a Fruits de Mer split single), a rocking reinterpretation of Melanie's "Cyclone," Houdaille's "On The Sidelines" and an exuberant take on The Shirts' "Tell Me Your Plans." This twelve-track edition adds a bonus cover of Todd Rundgren's "International Feel."
