Product Details

Wolfhard cut his teeth fronting Calpurnia as a teenager, channeling a classicist's ear for guitar rock long before most of his peers were thinking seriously about songwriting craft. That foundation shows here; where his debut leaned into bedroom intimacy, this one reaches for the open air of band records made to be played loud and lived in.

Finn Wolfhard's forthcoming album, Fire From The Hip, represents a definitive "hi-fi" evolution, moving from the raw, 16mm-aesthetic of his debut record, Happy Birthday, to a broader, 35mm-fidelity sound. Inspired by pivotal rock albums like Exile on Main Street and Beggars Banquet, Finn leans into a more expansive, collaborative sound on this record. The music is upbeat, guitar-driven, and captures the lightning-in-a-bottle energy of his live band, positioning Finn not just as a familiar face in the zeitgeist, but as a definitive and respected leader in the modern music landscape.
