Recorded when Apple was just 18, Tidal arrived fully formed in a mid-90s landscape cluttered with post-grunge and pop radio, sounding like nothing else on the dial. Her piano-driven confessionalism and rhythmic, jazz-inflected arrangements drew immediate comparisons to Joni Mitchell and Nina Simone, though Apple was clearly charting her own course from the first note.

Fiona Apple's debut album, Tidal, was released in 1996 and has been heralded as a masterpiece of modern music and since its release, Fiona Apple has become one of the most iconic female artists of her generation. Tracks  including "Shadowboxer," "Sleep To Dream," and standout "Criminal".  This vinyl release on 180g is pressed to play at 45 RPM.
