Fleetwood Mac – Then Play On (LP Vinyl)

Before Rumours, before Nicks and Buckingham, there was this: a British blues band finding something stranger and more searching than the genre they'd started in. Then Play On, from 1969, captures Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac at a creative crossroads, with Green's guitar work pointing toward psychedelia and introspection rather than Chicago tradition. It remains one of the most underappreciated documents of the late-'60s British rock scene.
