Kieran Hebden was already deep into the rhythmic experiments that would define his most restless period when *Ringer* arrived in 2008, bridging the textured folk-electronics of *There Is Love in You* with the looser, more percussive work he'd been developing in DJ sets and collaborations. The EP captured him at a particular moment of creative confidence, and these added tracks flesh out that snapshot with material that never found a proper home until now.

The expanded version of Four Tet's Ringer EP (2008) has been remastered by Kieran Hebden with two tracks added from the same era. The vinyl was cut by Matt Colton. Includes a booklet of unpublished photographs taken by Jason Evans for the original release.
