Franklin Kiermyer – Scatter the Atoms That Remain (CD)

Montreal-born drummer Franklin Kiermyer spent years deep in the tradition of spiritual jazz, apprenticing under Pharoah Sanders and carrying that intensity into his own recordings. Scatter the Atoms That Remain channels that lineage directly, placing collective improvisation and raw devotional energy at the center, the kind of music that treats the bandstand as sacred space.
