DS2 debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and became a landmark moment for Atlanta trap, capturing Future at the peak of his mixtape-to-mainstream crossover. The album's lean-soaked aesthetic and Auto-Tune melancholy influenced a generation of artists who followed, cementing Future's voice as one of the defining sounds of mid-2010s hip-hop.
DS2 (abbreviation of Dirty Sprite 2) is Future’s third studio album. Released on July 17, 2015, through A1 Recordings and Freebandz, and distributed by Epic Records. Features the hit tracks “Fuck Up Some Commas” and “Where Ya At” ft. Drake.”
