Product Details
Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett's virtual band project landed like a genuine curveball in 2001, blending hip-hop, dub, and post-Britpop experimentalism in ways that felt genuinely strange and genuinely exciting. With production contributions from Dan the Automator and guest appearances from Del the Funky Homosapien, the debut introduced a collaborative spirit that would define everything Gorillaz did afterward.
UK reissue of the indie supergroup's 2001 debut album includes two bonus tracks that aren't included on the U.S. edition, 'Clint Eastwood' (Ed Case Re-fix), '19/2000' (Soulchild Remix) & an interactive CD-ROM element.
