Beth Ditto's powerhouse vocals were already a revelation on the original "Standing in the Way of Control," but this remix EP shows how the song's raw energy translated across dancefloors and DJ sets, connecting Gossip's Pacific Northwest punk roots to a much wider world.

This is an EP of the second single from the Gossip's popular Kill Rock Stars release, "Standing in the Way of Control". It includes the original version of "Listen Up" as well as new remixes by the likes of legendary producer Arthur Baker (Afrika Bambaataa, New Order) and DJs MSTRKRFT and a Touch of Class. The EP also has a remixed version of "Standing in the Way of Control" by Le Tigre, and a crowd-pleasing cover of "Are U That Somebody" by Aaliyah.
