Jefferson Starship – Dragon Fly (LP Vinyl)

Dragon Fly marked the true beginning of Jefferson Starship as a distinct entity from Jefferson Airplane, arriving in 1974 with a lineup that bridged the psychedelic era and a harder, more propulsive rock sound. David Freiberg, Grace Slick, and Papa John Creach all contribute here, and the album introduced David Crosby and Graham Nash as guest vocalists on "Ride the Tiger." It remains one of the more underrated pivots in Bay Area rock history.
