Jenny Scheinman – One Hundred Years Today (CD)

Jenny Scheinman has spent decades threading through the roots of American music as a first-call collaborator for Bill Frisell, Norah Jones, and Lucinda Williams, among others, all while developing one of the most distinctive compositional voices in acoustic Americana. *One Hundred Years Today* finds her leading her own ensemble, where her fiddle playing carries the melodic weight of folk tradition without ever feeling reverent or backward-looking.
